Referral Program
Refer a Magento store that needs help, and we'll make it worth your while - how depends on whether you work there or not.

Who we're looking for
Know someone running a Magento store who complains the site is slow, or that every update breaks something? That's who this is for. Could be a store owner, an in-house developer, or someone at an agency who inherited a store they didn't build.

How the reward works
There are two situations, and we handle them differently.
Referring a company you don't work for
10% of their first invoice, paid to you personally - the exact figure can vary depending on the arrangement. If you'd rather not take a payment directly, we'll donate the same amount to a charity of your choice, or you can decline the reward entirely.
Referring your own employer
The reward goes to your company, not to you personally: free hours of work, or a discount on the first project. We don't pay individuals for referring their own employer.
Why the difference: a personal payment to someone who influences their employer's purchasing decision is a conflict of interest, and in some states it can be treated as commercial bribery. We'd rather not put you in that position, so when you're referring your own company, the benefit goes to the company instead of you.
How it works
- Tell us who to contact using the form below - a name, a company, and enough context to make the first email make sense.
- We reach out and mention that you sent us.
- If it turns into a paid project, we calculate the reward from their first invoice.
- Once that invoice is paid in full, we pay out - not before, and not for the introduction alone.

Program terms
- ITlab may change the terms of this program, or end it entirely, at any time without prior notice.
- Changes don't affect rewards already confirmed before the change.
- Rewards are paid only after the client pays their first invoice in full.
- A referral is not a guarantee we'll take on the project.
- Self-referrals, referrals of companies that are already ITlab clients, and repeat referrals of the same company aren't rewarded.
- You're responsible for complying with your employer's policies on accepting rewards from vendors.
- Tax on any reward is the recipient's responsibility. U.S. residents receiving more than $600 in a year will need to complete a W-9.
- ITlab may decline to pay a reward if we see signs of abuse of the program.
- This program isn't available where prohibited by law.
